  1. Your  manual  is  pre-formated to print on 8.5 x 11 in.  paper with top & left
  2. margins of 1.0 in.  and right & bottom margins of 0.5 in.  With  SKIPPER,  the
  3. top,  left  &  bottom margins are set auto- matically when you set the margins
  4. with the print modes options menu.  The  right  margin  is  governed  by  line
  5. length.   If  the margins are not set, the PRINT command will print the manual
  6. continuously flush with the left  margin,  with  page  breaks  only  at  major
  7. sections.  The output, however, will be readable.

  9. The PRINT command will be available within SKIPPER only after installation and
  10. setup.  SKIPPER installation, operation  and use are detailed step by  step in
  11. the file MANUAL.DOC.  To print the file now, use  PRINT from DOS command line.

  13. By default, SKIPPER has been set to execute from A:  drive.  You may therefore
  14. view MANUAL.DOC from SKIPPER even prior to SKIPPER installation.   Log  on  to
  15. A:drive and insert SKIPPER diskette into the A:  drive.  Proceed as follows:

  17.    Type SKR and Press <─┘
  18.         Ignore the message Menu file missing.
  19.    Press F1
  20.         To call the FILE MANAGER
  21.    Press AltF key  ( Alt and F keys simultaneously)
  22.         To switch to the alternate FKEY set
  23.    Press F7
  24.         To call KWIKLOOK.
  25.    Press ─┘
  26.         To select all files.  The list of files in the SKIPPER disk will be
  27.         displayed in the left window.  Move the  Cursor to the  MANUAL.DOC
  28.         file  and  press  SPACEBAR  to  select  the  file.  Press <─┘ to
  29.         execute KWIKLOOK.
  30.   Press Esc
  31.         To leave KWIKlOOK.
  32.   Press Esc
  33.         To leave FILE MANAGER.
  34.   Press F10
  35.         To return to DOS.

  37. Please  note  that none of the file management functions on the FILE MANAGER's
  38. first FKEY set or on the SKIPPER's main screen are available at this time.  If
  39. you press Esc from the main screen, the screen will clear and you will see the
  40. prompt ?>.  Enter ?  to return to SKIPPER.
